about CBT

What is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy?

CBT is based on the belief that individuals have the power to change how they feel, and how they experience life. This is done through a process of identifying specific thoughts and patterns of behavior that are at the root of your distress. Then, the therapist and patient engage in a collaborative process to identify and develop a skill set that will empower you to change your life for the better.

What are the advantages of CBT?

CBT has been proven to be an extremely successful approach to treating a wide variety of concerns which you may be facing in your life. Aside from the high rate of effectiveness, CBT is an approach to therapy that focuses on education and skill building, which means that it is often completed in a shorter time frame than other forms of therapy.

Depression and Anxiety

Example has been specializing in using the insights and  techniques of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to treat depression and anxiety for over ten years.
